We are proud to hold the Sitewise Gold Tick. This is awarded by Sitewise in recognition of the high-quality health and safety systems that we have in place.

Site Specific Safety Plans

Site Specific Safety Plan are created for each new project. These plans, which capture all elements, hazards, risks and issues, are prepared by our experienced and highly qualified Stonemasons. The Site Specific Safety Plans are referred to regularly for the duration of each project.

Health and Safety Management

We promote accountability from all staff and sub-contractors. From the Site Specific Safety Plans flow our other Health and Safety-related planning documents and communication and engagement activities.

These include:

• Traffic Management Controls – we have a fully qualified STMS.
• Environmental Controls
• Daily pre-starts to highlight any Health and Safety issues or hazards
• Hazard boards
• Weekly tool-box talks
• Weekly site-assessments.
• In addition to this we ensure that all of our people wear correct Personal Protective Equipment as appropriate for each job.
• Reducing our Environmental Impact.
• As a business, we understand that our activities can have an impact on the environment. We are committed to minimising that impact and working in an ecologically sustainable manner. We do this by:
• Identifying, implementing, and promoting good -practice environmental management systemsand operations.
• Reducing waste and the use of energy and resources.
• Utilising the best and latest techniques to reduce noise, dust, fumes and vibrations on work sites.
• Sourcing local stone and other resources.

Our response to Covid 19

• We comply with all Government regulations and advice in relation to Covid 19 and communicate regularly with our team to keep them informed.
• We are minimising the risk of transmission of Covid 19 while continuing to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality projects. We do this by:
• Keeping face-to-face meetings, daily pre-starts and tool box talks to as few people as possible, while always practicing social distancing.
• Restricting visitors to sites and ensuring only necessary employees and contractors attend worksites.
• Ensuring regular communication with the team about correct hygiene, social distancing and self-isolation.
• Ensuring that all work-vehicles and sites have QR codes for signing in and sanitiser for regular use.
• Monitoring the mental health of our team.
